For multiple products, review an ordered chart and its total estimate. Each video finishes before the next starts; failures pause for recovery. Get a progress link immediately while generation runs in the background. These generation workflows do not post socially unless you separately request it.
Chat attachment support depends on your AI app. It can transfer the photo directly when supported, or give you a signed-in upload link and continue from the same conversation once the photo is received.

What is the My UGC Shop MCP server?+
A hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint that lets any MCP-capable AI assistant operate your My UGC Shop account: generate entire shops, edit and publish your storefront (palette, sections, the homepage video carousel), search and import retail products, design and launch custom merch, manage domains, run automation workflows, film and schedule UGC videos, read analytics, and track orders down to the package. A complete toolset, nothing to install or host — your agent connects to one URL with an access token.
Which AI assistants can I connect?+
Any MCP client. Connector-style clients (Claude on the web and desktop, ChatGPT) connect with OAuth: paste the endpoint URL, sign in to your account, click Approve — done, no tokens to copy. Developer clients and agent harnesses (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, OpenClaw, Hermes-style agent stacks, custom SDK builds — all of it) use the same OAuth flow or a personal access token header — if it speaks MCP over HTTP, it connects.
Does MCP access cost extra?+
No. It is included with every My UGC Shop subscription. Actions that generate content spend the same AI actions and render credits they would from the dashboard — never anything additional.
Is it safe to let an AI agent touch my store?+
Access is engineered for it: tokens carry only the scopes you check (Read, Write, Run), every call runs the exact server-side validation the dashboard uses, spending sits behind the separate Run scope with an optional daily cap you set per token, duplicate renders are guarded automatically, every mutation is audited, and revocation takes one click and is effective immediately.
Does my agent come with ready-made workflows?+
Yes. 10 built-in workflows work across 65 tools: guided setup, the morning brief, source & stock, single product videos, ordered video queues, film & post, chart-driven product lines, troubleshooting, shop launches, and custom merchandise. Clients that support MCP prompts can surface these as starters; you can also ask your assistant for the same workflow in conversation.
Can my agent spend my money?+
Not without you. Content generation runs on the credits and AI actions your plan already includes, behind the Run scope and your optional daily cap. Money itself never moves by agent: a domain purchase, for example, only produces a Stripe Checkout link — you open it and pay in your own browser, and nothing is registered or charged until you do.
Will my agent help me finish setting up?+
Yes. The server ships a setup checklist tool (get_onboarding_status) and a get-set-up playbook: a freshly connected agent can see exactly which connections and steps are unfinished, what each one unlocks, and walk you through them one at a time with direct dashboard links — then verify each step as you complete it.
Can I make product videos from photos in my AI assistant?+
Yes. Your agent can upload a supported product image, use a shop product, or provide a text-only concept. No shop is required for a photo-based video. Choose Hands-On POV, Avatar Overlay, or Product Promotion, and save a default for future requests. Without an explicit or saved choice, Hands-On POV is used. Product Promotion needs a reference image. Assistants with file-transfer support can upload the actual attachment directly; otherwise the MCP provides a signed-in upload link, and you return to the same conversation after uploading. Generation uses your existing AI actions and render credits; it does not automatically post to social media.
Can I queue several products and get one finished video at a time?+
Yes. Create a finite product chart, review the rows and estimates, then start it. The next row begins only after the current video finishes successfully. Read progress from your assistant or the app; a failed row pauses the queue for an explicit retry or skip. The queue continues server-side even when the conversation is closed, subject to valid access and available credits.
How do I get set up?+
Subscribe, then either paste the endpoint into a connector-capable client (Claude, ChatGPT) and sign in — OAuth handles the rest — or create a token under Connections → AI Agent Access (MCP) and paste one config block.
